Hi Everbody,

I think we need a place to learn a little more about each other.  I propose
that we all take a few minutes to reflect back on ourselves and our
accomplishments in our lives and what we are trying to do today.

I will start off with my synopsis and if you feel so inclined to let it all out,
then please do so.  I hope everyone will help out with this so we can all
get to know each other a little better.  Besides, the title of this thread says
ABOUT US and not just ME.  Jump in and let's have a little fun with this, okay?

Sound it out loud and clear!

Let your light shine through!

---------------------

I don't usually like to talk about myself very much. But, I have heard it
said, "If you don't toot your own horn then it will never get tooted."  Well
then here's the song my horn will lend to your ears....

Born November 22, 1950 in a small northern Oklahoma town called
Hominy.  I grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma... and yes, I hated that song
when Merle Haggard sang it in 1969... the year I graduated from high
school.  Nevertheless, "I am Proud to be an Okie from Muskogee".

Uprooted through my life experiences, but am now living in Lebanon,
Tennessee... a small burg just east of Nashville.  I am now a Country
Music fan unlike my earlier years in Muskogee.

After proudly serving my country in the very unpopular police action in
South Vietnam, I was released from the U.S. Army with an honorable
discharge and sought employment in Georgia where I married a Georgia
Peach.  That lasted for 30 years and finally I just had to pull up my dress
and scream!  That was just 5 years ago and I am very happy now with
my new wife, Phyllis.  I found a fairly good J.O.B. back in the early days
and continued with it until... well just keep reading below what I have to
say about myself and what is going on in my life today...

I don't consider myself an "online" expert. My expertise lies in the
nation's railroads. You see, I am involved with enforcing railroad safety
laws as they apply to railroad signaling (train control and highway-rail
crossing signals). Before my J.O.B. as a Federal Government employee, I
worked for one of the safest and most efficient railroads in the country. It
was all I knew and I thought there was no way to make a living other
than to live the life I had grown accustomed to.  I was locked in to that
work-a-day life and I would be bound to it by my debts.  But, I found a
way out of it because I got so totally frustrated with the constant,
mundane work and being at-work all of the time. Finally, in 1995, I quit
my job as a railroad signalman.

I went to work for an aluminum extrusion company in their maintenance
department. I liked the work and was doing okay financially until the
orders dropped off and they couldn't afford to keep a second shift
working... OOPS! Another chapter in my life was about to be written,
again.  At that time, I went to work at a rug mill owned by a Belgian
company in Georgia where I did minor maintenance duties. I realized that
the income I would bring home would not be enough to sustain a family of
five so I applied for a job at the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
As I waited for the Government to come across with a job, I continued to
hope for something better to appear.  Lo and behold, the rug mill job
lasted about 16 months until they sold the company and everyone was
laid off.  That was in February 1997, but as luck would have it, in January
just before the lay-off, I received notification that the government wanted
me in Detroit, Michigan.  I lived in Monroe, MI for about 3 years until a
man retired from the FRA in Nashville and the job was open for bid.  I
was the one they chose to fill the position and now I am here in
Tennessee. This brought about a fresh start with my current J.O.B.  So, I
am now a bit more happy and not so worried with the finances.

Over the last 30-35 years, I have been involved with several extra
income generation programs.  We never seem to have all that we want
and the dream of financial freedom keeps luring us to one thing and the
next.  I tried different MLM organizations and I never was successful with
any of them.  I found that the concept "just get 2" was the most difficult
thing I had ever tried to do.  I still am drawn to that concept because it is
a very good one. I found myself trying to "just get 2" over and over with
the same results.  Many people say, "That is the definition of insanity."
... well, call me insane then!  I like to accomplish what I set out to do and
this one thing has made me so "driven" that I will not let it beat me.  I am
trying through many avenues to learn all I can to make "just get 2" work
in my life.  I have set my mind to do whatever it takes to make it work
too!  Life without challenges would be very dull, don't you think?

So, what is it that has made me consider myself so "driven"?  I cannot
put a finger on it completely, but I have searched my soul and have come
up with at least two things that I feel have caused me a lot of difficulty.
One is that I have never been associated with people very much... not
very many opportunities to "network" with people in my daily routine in
the past or present.  And two, is that I cannot lie to people to get them to
"join" me in a business.  I cannot tell somebody how good something is if
it isn't doing anything for me at the time they ask.  Whenever I've started
with a new program, I have had a tremendous desire to make it work,
yet, I have found these humongous hurdles right in front of me that I
could not seem to climb over.  I have great faith in the organization that I
am working with, however, I am totally blown away by the fact that I
haven't had a success story to tell to people. I won't "make something
up" so that has been my demise.  I have to deal with facts and I will only
give the facts when I talk to people about my program.  So, as you can
probably detect, "just get 2" is still the hardest thing I have ever tried to
do.

I can now say, for once in my life of 57 years, that I have succeeded in
something having to do with a matrix.  That one program has ended my
search for financial independence forever.  It will do the same thing for
others who take part as well.

So, what is that wonderful program?  It is a group of people really.  It
isn't a company or business that most people are used to seeing.  But the
fantastic thing is this... once your team is built, you never have to build it
again.  Nobody ever has to quit!  You know how big of a drag it is paying
monthly for something and not seeing any results.  People get frustrated
and decide not to continue to pay out anymore and just quit.  People do
not have to quit because we have a PLAN that works!

There is a Team Builders Group within this group of people and we go to
work together as a team to help build the team of all who want to take
part with us in the Team Builders Group. This builds the new member's
downline and ours as well. There are never any new expenses if the plan
is followed and it offers  lifelong, willable wealth.  If you have a desire to
have us help you with your downline and build a financial future together,
I encourage you to visit my page at Plan4Power.

I am having great success with this and now it is a lot of fun working for a
change.  When you see something happening, it changes your
perspective.  I am now a changed man!

Thank you for reading my short story.  It humbles me to think others see
me differently than I see myself.  I haven't been very positive about
myself during my lifetime.  I am changing all of that now.  Follow me and
see how I develop by helping others succeed... maybe you will be one of
the ones I help.  Your actions can make that a reality.

Peace to you and yours,
Leon Horton

Leon, I like your idea.  I 'm not too good when it comes to talking about myself either, but here goes anyway.

I was born January 18, 1963, Bronx NY.  Don't have any memory of that place and some might say that's a good thing.  I grew up in a small town called Wappingers Falls (still in NY, but not so small anymore), where I graduated from High School.

I spent about two years recovering from back surgeries, just so the US Army would accept me.  I served in peacetime (relatively speaking I guess) from '84-'87 in the MP Corp.  Upon receiving an honorable discharge in January of '87, the fun began.

I took a third shift job with IBM the following month.  I was there for six plus years in a manufacturing environment.  While there I started realizing there had to be a better way to make a living.  I started looking into MLM, joined a few companies, spent a few bucks purchasing leads and just doing what I was told and nothing happened.  When the IBM "purge" started in the mid-90's with lay-offs of a large group of people, I decided to "retire", take a buy out package and go back to school for an accounting degree.

I earned a Bachelors degree in accounting in two years (not recommended) and held a few accounting jobs over the next few years.
Sure, I made a little more money, but still knew this was not the answer to "making a living", so my search continued.

I took a job with a company called Solix in 2000 (which is where I am today (and it's not even in an accounting capacity).  My search was still ongoing.  I was promoting an MLM company in 2006, not having much success.  The monthly fees were getting tougher to handle and I still wasn't making any money.

I was ready to throw in the towel on MLM in April, '06, when I came across a Plan4Power site via TrafficSwarm (Thanks Elaine!).  There was no mention of guaranteed income (gee, that was different), no monthly fees (again, different) and a call center that would follow up and close my sales for me (intriguing).  Well, I've never paid a monthly fee and the call center has followed up on my behalf a number of times.  Wow, honesty.  Now that's unique.

I have finally found the approach (the Plan) that's going to take me where I want to go.  Plan4Power is my #1 priority and I'm sure I'll be back here in a short time upgrading this thread.  Thanks to everybody who has helped me along the way.  It's a fun ride.

Now, who's next...

Gus

You guys this is great and I'll try and
get something on here.

Good Stories.  For now this is what I've been putting
together and I have some personal comments about me here.
This is alot of fun, hope you all join and learn.

Sorry - took forever for me to get back,
actually I forgot all about it.

I'll just make this a short introduction for
those who may not know me - I've done
so much on and offline that I couldn't possibly
type it all here...

Summary:

Being a single parent for 20 years I was determined
to provide the best life possible for my boys,
I discovered early on it would take hard work and
dedication if I wanted to achieve the goals I
set for myself and provide them with
the quality lifestyle they deserved.

My background offline included, contract manager,
area management and account management positions
to name a few.

I have built a reputation of training and motivating
others to achieve the same level of success I have
with only two years of internet marketing under my belt.
I constantly tell others "If They Can Do It, I Can Do It,
If I Can Do It, You Can Do It" although you must
have the drive and vision in order to do so.

Personal - Married Johnny on the 4th of July 2001
met him online after being divorced for 20 years.
Had three grandkids before the age of 40 -
We live in Alabama - have six horses and six
dogs...Love going gambling although its a very
expensive habit that will quickly ruin you, lol

So in conclusion - I'm motivated - Plan4Power is what began it
for me and will continue to be the foundation for what I build
upon.

For Leon, sorry to be late, quiet honestly, I forgot about it,
I plead human frailty.
.
. A Bit About Me
.
I Live in Ventura, California, USA.
A wonderful place to live and work.
On The Pacific Ocean with surfers waves.

62 years Young, Feel like 40, Father and Grandfather.

Born in a little farming community about 20 miles south
of Tampa Florida. My folks worked for farming people all their lives.
Up and down the east coast, but based in Florida.

I worked on farms and for service stations until
I volunteered to serve my country from 1963 to 1966
in the United States Army.

After training in the US, I was sent to South Korea for a year.
Then returned to the US for a while. Attached TDY to the Air
Force for 3 months as part of a security detachment to protect
C130 Hercules aircraft on special duty in Africa(Congo).
Beautiful airplane, the C130.

Then back to the US for a while. My division was packed up
and sent to South Vietnam where I served as a ground troop.
The good Lord provided and I survived that mess until my
commitment to my country was over. I would have continued
my duty to my country for 20 years if the politicians hadn't
been stupid and over ruled our Military Leaders.
Enough of that, it is a subject I get riled about anyway. Grrrrr!

Computer networking and support is my main stay for income
while building my online business to the point it will be my
primary source of income.

Fishing is my hobby, especially large mouth bass fishing.

Love to listen to live local music and musicians,
Blues, Jazz, Zydeco and some Rock & Roll,
**( Elvis still lives, if only in our hearts. )**
Once in a while even a little Bach or Beethoven and others.
Love to dance to all of them.

Started Internet Marketing around August of 2006.
Finally found Plan4Power in November of 2006.
With limited resources, I had limited exposure.
Therefore my horror stories are not as bad as some
I have heard. I am cautious by nature, which has
served me well while traveling the trails of the Internet Jungle.

I am here to stay with friends and teammates helping
to make it possible for the motivated and sincere members
to have success at the end of the day.

I do some other things that is small by nature but
still broadens my scope and develops my understanding
of this thing called Internet Marketing.

If nothing comes of anything I do, the friends
and people I met along the way was/is well worth the trip.

It would take a novel to do a complete rundown on me
so I have limited this to some of the highlights.

When today is done, tomorrow is a new rising sun
and another opportunity to get it right.

Doug

Thank you for posting your story Doug.

I have to plead "stupid" from time to time so don't feel too badly about
having to plead "human frailty".

Everybody,

Please take a look at my blog and let me know what you think. I would
appreciate your comments and don't be afraid to place your links in the
comment section. This is an additional way for you to advertise or to have
one-way links to your site. Just comment. I'm not afraid of criticism so let
me have it! (Over there that is.)

Hi all,

Lee Shaw here.  I go by ‘TheBizMan’ which is the brand that I have been developing for the last 5 years.  I was born in Moline, IL in 1944 and moved to Phoenix, AZ when I was 11 yrs old.  Did most of the dumb things that teenagers did back then.  Met my sweetheart my junior year of high school.  We were married 4 years later.  We have 6 children, 19 grand children and 4 great-grandchildren.  Durning our 44+ years togeather, we have lived in Phoenix (4 different times), Show Low AZ, Carrolton OH, Cleveland, OH, Waco TX, Culver City CA  and now in Peoria AZ.  I have worked in so many different jobs that I can’t list all of them here. The longest I stayed with any company was 2 years and then finally did settle down.  I became a computer programmer and stayed with the first company for 6 years. I left them and started my own consulting business and ran that for 9 years before selling out.  I have now been with Laureate Education, Inc for over 8 years and will most likely retire from them.

I have been trying to make some money doing anything on the internet for over 8 years with no real success.  I found Plan4Power about 3 years ago and thought here we go again.  I had some serious health problems and don’t remember much that went on for the whole year of 2007.  When I got sick, I was involved with around 18 different programs (P4P) being one of them.  When I came back, after over a year, there were only 3 still around and the only one that kept me active was Plan4Power.  As I started to get active again everyone at P4P welcomed me back with open arms.  Not with ‘He’s back, lets see how much we can get out of him this time’.  They helped me get up to speed and explained everything that I had missed.  Plan4Power may not make your rich fast in money, but it sure will in friends.

I would name names, but I know I would miss someone, so just let me say a big THANK YOU to everyone that has helped me.

Lee

Hi Lee,

I think I may be afflicted with what you had... but not the serious illness
associated with it.

I think I said this before, but I'm glad to have you back with us.

Peace,
