Anybody know of a email mailbox cleaner or sweeper?  I have four boxs that I use with safelists and don't want to have to go and delete everything several times a day.

Hi Lee,

Just go to Google and get a Gmail account.  You will start out with 2 GB of
space and then it just keeps growing.  Mine is now at over 6 GB.

My list account is there for all of my safelists and it holds everything very
nicely.  You can delete whenever you want to.

I don't know if an email cleaner will work at Gmail though.

There are some safelists that offer an email cleaner.

I have one at BusyBeeSafelist.
You may be able to join and get one there too.   I think you have to join
as an Executive member though.  It was free to join that way, but I don't
know now if it is still free to do so.  That mailbox cleaner only works for
those that have POP3 accounts.

That is all that I know of right now, Lee.  I will keep my eyes open for any
others that offer a list email cleaner.

Peace,

I use yuknow.com, two accounts but its pretty expensive with
the submitter and safelist.  Gmail is not the correct
pop3 to use with cleaners, nothing I've found will connect
although they are simple to empty and you dont have to
do it daily.  You click on all, then theres a small line at
the top with all the mail, click that then click delete.  if
you have gmail you may be missing that number, I did
for a long time and then thought "Well Duh!" lol

My Yuhknow bounces mail like crazy too which they
say doesn't happen, it does, they are the worst!

Yeap a few submitters have the mail accounts
with cleaners - they cost money...All I've seen anyway.

I did a search and found several mailbox cleaners.

Some said they were free downloads and some were not free.  You may
want to check out some that are available by doing a search.

Still. I am quite satisfied with my Gmail accounts.  They are all web-based
and work very well in my opinion.

Peace,

One way to handle the email issue with your own hosting email address is...

to set up Outlook Express to retrieve the email from your online accounts
and not leave a copy of the mail on the server when you retrieve it.  Then
you can just click the first email and scroll to the bottom and use Shift +
left-click (which will select all of the mail) and then hit Delete.

Of course, it would make sense to click a few credit links before deleting
them all.

Peace,

Hi again Lee,

I was doing my advertising this evening and paid more attention to the
navigation links in the safelists.

I noticed that the following safelists offer an email cleaner.

Busy Bee Safelist
http://busybeesafelist.com/g.php?r=39

Email Grader
http://www.emailgrader.com/safelist/index.php?ref=leonh

Team Network Safelist
http://ultimatesafelisthost.com/quickinfo/index.php?ref=leonh

There may be more, but those caught my eye and I remembered them.

I have posted the referral links so you can sign-up there, but you can
sign-up under anybody you choose to, not necessarily with my links.

I hope you have some success in finding what you are looking for, Lee.

Peace,

Thanks Leon...I found a cleaner from AcmeToolz.  It seems to work great.  I'm cleaning 4 mailboxes every 30 minutes.  Here is the link if you would like to check it out.

They have a trial download, but I'm going to go ahead and buy it.

I may want to have a mailbox cleaner to clean out my list email account
about once a year maybe.

I guess I could run the trial every time I want to clean it.  Nevertheless, I
won't need it for a while yet.  I can still just do a search for mail to me and
select to delete it all.

You may want to set the timer to run every week rather than less than a
day.  You will need to be able to click some credit links to build credits from
time to time with the safelists.

Peace,
