Hi Everybody,

We have reached the final chapter of Sending HTML Safelist Ads... Whew!

Okay, Okay... Yes, we waded through a bunch of techy gobbledy-gook in
order to get here.  I know what you went through because I had to do it
myself.  There really is no short cut...  except to do it for you.  I really don't
have the time to write everybody's email messages so that is why you had to
learn a few of the techy things, okay?

I have been using an HTML email message for quite some time now.  You
may or may not like it and I certainly don't want you to use it if the latter
is the case.  You can simply use the template and change anything you
want in it.  There is another way you can create HTML messages that you
could use, but I would not have been able to display my minuscule talents
by telling you that up front, now would I?

Many of the sites that we use have HTML editors within them where you
can type the words you want to say.  You can decorate them with color,
change the font to something different, increase the size of the letters,
make them bold, italics and underlined.  You can even hyperlink some of
the words!  KEWL BEANZ, eh!?

One of the sites in particular is Cathy's WooDoggie Plan4Power site.  Also,
her recent Plan4Power safelist allows you to create HTML messages.
Those little boxes that you enter your text into is called a text editor.
Some of the other sites have what is referred to as What You See Is What
You Get editors.  Often these are referred to, in short, as WYSIWYG editors.

You can type your message and prepare it to look the way you want it to
appear.  Then you can click the "source" button and the actual HTML code
will appear in the box.  A lot of the editors use styles and all of that junk.
I prefer to keep it as simple as possible.  That is why I went through the
basic stuff for you in the previous parts of this training.

Try going to one of the safelists and typing in a message with all of the
different colors and such that you want.  Then click the "source" button
and take a look at what you have.  It is really a lot more than you would
expect to have... and it looks like it is really hard to do all of that coding.
But it is not that hard to do if you keep it simple.  Mine is quite simple yet,
it does have some of the more complex things in it.

I am copying my message below for you to experiment with if you want to
do so.  Reword it how you want, change colors, font sizes or anything you
want with it.  You can simply use it as a template to start with and create
your own little "sales copy" masterpiece.

You can copy it and then paste it into the "source" box.  Pasting it into the
regular box will make a mess of things in a WYSIWYG editor... so be sure
to click the "source" button before you paste the coded message into it.
Then if you click the "source" button again, it will display the message as if
you typed it in yourself.

Below is my HTML coded message for you to use.  You will need to be
sure to use the proper link for the hyperlinks.

HAPPY CODING!!

I hope this journey wasn't too distasteful for you.  I didn't want to tell you
that it is really easy when it isn't.  Now, you can use the HTML in MadVlad!

Peace,
