Tom asked me that same question and I have to tell ya... I use Gmail for both my Contact and Mailing lists; almost for everything. I think that there are only 2 that aren't and that is only for the Contact list: Global and Bowest... if memory serves... and they accepted Yahoo for Contact.
However...I joined way back on April 14 so no doubt that has something to do with it.
Strange though... just when other lists are reporting that they'll only except Gmail.
Wish I had the answer... very odd.

I just checked the "banned email" list and did not see either Yahoo or Gmail
on the list.

I wrote back to admin, requested a manual signup as she suggested,
and also requested a signup with Lorne. Will see how this works
and if list mails go thru & let you know. Putting a little extra
effort on this one, since it's part of TH

Hi Marsha,

I don't suppose I will be using this one. They won't allow Gmail accounts and
I won't use any other email because it is too much trouble to check so many
accounts. I am going to use a one-stop concept in my approach.

When I signed up and put my Gmail list address in the form. The page reloaded
and said my account at Gmail did not exist and just sat there waiting for me
to put in another account address.

I just tried again to join and now it says my contact email account at
Gmail does not exist. There must be something wrong with their script. It
is too much to hassle with in my opinion.

I'm sorry for taking so long to get back here on this.

I'm doing the same Leon. If they don't allow Gmail,
I don't use 'em either. To me it's just not worth the
trouble of checking 15 different email accounts.

Leon I'm pretty sure you posted on another part of the
forum about your lack of success w/MyWebsiteAds .
The admin seemed nice, thought there was no problem
with gmail (so it's not that they don't allow gmail)
and offered to manually add me. Will keep
you informed

I don't know that I am that interested since having troubles to start out with.

Maybe they will get it worked out somehow.

edit: I just received the reply from Penny Moran who I suppose is
the admin. I sent her my info and she said she would get me signed up
manually. I asked her to put me under Marsha.

I hadn't posted my link yet b/c I wrote back to Penny to see if
she had made any script changes to accept a gmail signup.

it's working now for the next person.
