As you'll recall we got a bit off track near the beginning of this thread and so I thought it'd be fun to return to it for just a moment or two.
I really don't know what to make of the info, you'll find below, nor do most people at this point, but there's a thread in The Book Of Thoth Forum here:
http://www.book-of-thoth.com/ftopic-12246-days0-orderasc-180.html
Scroll down the page until you find this post from Kira:

You might want to eat the word 'fake'.
...
We've all come across so much of this stuff over the years that we're all jaded by now.
But it is something interesting to check out. And it might not be on their forum for long (ie. removed by someone) so if you're interested in a good conspiracy/ufo theory... knock yourself out.
I just left the BoT forum and there were 60 visitors... an unusually high number. Even for them.
Later...

You bring interesting items to the table from
time to time. Thanks.
This seems to be the thread to bring it back to
each time...yeah ? It sort of took that turn
awhile back.
I hope to have some time to look through this
article (if it stays up there as they say on their forum),
because it looks interesting for thumbing through
during a spot of leisure time.
The findings that the satellites bring in on a weekly
basis anymore, makes us ever more aware of how
vast this universe really is. I would feel sort of
egotistical to fully deny the possibility that we're not
alone in it.
It looks like some people who study these things often
are thinking this is really something to be aware of.
At the least, it would be a reminder of how imaginative
and inventive the human mind can be. |

OK... this is my second attempt at a Reply. Timed-out the first time. lol
Glad you enjoyed (will enjoy) Deb; you've said it very well in a few short sentences.
If it's a hoax... we learn something. If it's real... we learn something.
As for the BoT denizens... there are some good minds and some "flakes"... just like every other place.
Better cut this short before I get carried away and time-out again.
I read the article, and Right Clicked and saved everything. That way it doesn't matter if they remove the link; I'll still be able to read the diagrams (haven't had time yet).
Have a great day! |

I read the entire article, looked at, and read the images.
Since I am a total believer in UFO as definition of the unexplained (airborne),
especially when observed by "Intelligent" people I know, and know of,
it leaves no doubt in my mind the individual placing this in the
public domain is legitimate.
We, as the race now occupying this planet, are in our
infancy when the vastness of the Universe is considered.
It is beyond my comprehension that we are the only
intelligent and sentient life forms in the Universe.
I will, till my dying minute, look for and know,
they are there, only we are not allowed to see them.
They monitor our world with a non interference policy.
Maybe 2012 is the defining year I look forward to.

That's quite an endorsement, Doug. Very interesting, especially considering your background.
I'm pretty much on the same page as you regarding the reality of these unknown entities. There are entirely too many reliable witnesses to suggest otherwise.
Maybe one day we'll get the "proof" we all need so we can move on.
2012 is OK with me... preferrably sooner. |

I thought that I’d just write this for anyone even remotely interested in the immediate posts above:
“UFO specialist on Larry King Live, Friday July 13, 2007.
Stanton Friedman is heading to Los Angeles to address his largest audience yet on a CNN Larry King Live special segment marking the 60th anniversary of the Roswell incident tonight.”
Roswell is, of course, the Holy Grail for ufoligists… and just as a teaser... Friedman may have something to say about Walter Haut’s “deathbed” affidavit. So who’s Walter Haut? Sorry… that’s why it’s called a teaser.
I know… I know… you probably want to ask me what this subject has to do with P4P and positive news etc. For me it’s curiosity and a desire to learn. Ufology is just another fascinating area that’s considered by some to be iffy at best and even now a great many folks are leery of losing credibility if they express an interest. Not me.
Will Rogers put it best:
"Why not go out on a limb? That's where the fruit is."
There is genius in that quote. I’ve never seen a case where new discoveries in any field were made by those that follow the status quo. Never. It takes a certain type of personality to break from the pack and to follow your own guidance. Pioneers. Annnd a great many times (but unfortunately, not always) the pioneers are not only rewarded for their own efforts but the pack eventually benefit as well. Thus the knowledge gained becomes the new status quo.
Hey you know what… I’ve just found the tie-in for this post and P4P… The originators of this program didn’t follow the status quo either… and now look at where we are. ‘Nuff said.
Enjoy the show tonight… or if you’re like me… just read or view the highlights later. |

Thanks Loren,
I am one of those that believe and am always looking to
the sky on the chance I may be that Billionth of a chance
person to see a real UFO.
I agree with Will Rogers statement about the fruit.
Thanks again for the post.
I will try to watch tonight.

Lorne, I've always enjoyed your posts and have been fascinated
by your perspective. Coming from you, this is a very high compliment
about Plan4Power and I want to tell you how much I appreciate your
comment, your vision and your contributions as a member of p4p.
Hope I get a chance to watch that segment on Larry King...at least a
recap this weekend if they do one. Good teaser. |

Aw... shucks guys
Hey... P4P has enriched us all as members and it's due to your vision, Deb (and others) that we're allowed to ramble on about just about anything it seems
Anyway... I hope you enjoy(ed) the show and maybe they'll put it on YouTube or BoT as well.
Thanks again... Doug and Debra. And everyone else... |

OK... if you missed the show last night there is now a download link posted by Cinders over at BoT:
http://www.book-of-thoth.com/ftopicp-148825.html#148825
The download is FREE from megaupload. Don't know how many are familiar with megaupload but it's sooo easy that even I can do it.
Just follow the steps...
Save it to your Desktop or My Documents.
However... there is about a 5 hour wait between downloads.
Download Part 1, then wait 5 hours or so and then download Part 2.
(I'm assuming that you have a high speed connection... I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how this would work with dial-up).
Just in case you have dial-up and are curious, there is also a written transcript of the show. Just click the link.
I haven't viewed all of it yet but it seems to be a very clear picture. Cinders did a very good job.
As for the show itself... for someone that's viewed these types of programs before it's about the average. Nothing exceptional.
For a newbie, it could whet your appetite for more research.
Enjoy |

Hi Loren;
I was able to watch it and was disappointed.
LK way overbooked the show, to many fingers
in the pie thing.
That could have made two shows
Nothing new came at me out of it.
Well, maybe next time.

OK... I've finally watched the show.
I agree Doug... not much new. And too many guests.
But with shows like LK it's hard to know what the agenda is. Is it simply ratings (ahem ) or is there a definite attempt to inform?
I think that on balance LK is one of the better shows out there.
I must also say that the picture quality from megaupload is much superior to the YouTube version. Very clear.
Now since I brought up the Walter Haut teaser and they didn't really cover it is as well as they should have...
http://roswellproof.homestead.com/Haut.html
There ya go.
And f-i-n-a-l-l-y... I think that the important point about all of this is that I found out about the LK show on about the second page of one of our major daily papers. There was a quite a large article and the picture display was definitely an attention grabber.
It's changing... and as you said... maybe next time. |

Hi Lorne,
The newspaper probably didn't have enough room on the front page because
of the Dems and Reps jockeying for position and all of the negative news
about W and the Iraqi conflict.
I wish it would all just go away and be over, but we have a long time yet
before we can change it in any form one way or another.
The video was okay, but I, like both of you, did not see anything to arouse
my appetite for more.
I have always believed we are not alone in this universe.
One starry night in the fall of 1984, I was standing outside with my
ex-brother-in-law in Rome, GA and I looked up in the sky and saw a fast
moving object which resembled a star move from the southern sky to a
point over our heads and stopped still suddenly and then about 5 seconds
later turned west and zipped away out of sight within another 5 seconds
time.
I turned to the man next to me and said, "I think we just saw a UFO." It
was very strange to see something move that fast across the sky and just
stop like that and then turn 90 degrees and zip away. It had to be outside
of the atmosphere because it appeared to reflect light from the sun like
the stars do. Besides, something moving that fast inside the atmosphere
would have probably burned and the heat trail would have been seen and
reported on radar and by me as well.
Oh well, I still believe.
Peace, |

Thanks for that, Leon.
Unfortunately I have never personally witnessed anything unusual in the skies. Day or night. But there have been very credible reports of UFO's in my area and most recently these have been of the black triangle type of craft that were seen in Arizona and around the world. These craft are huge and silent and if you ever see one... well, I don't really need to write about a witnesses worldview changing rather dramatically, now do I? LOL.
Maybe someday, I'll be fortunate enough to see something.
But actually my main comment is about what was on the cover of the paper that day... etc.
Up here, it's mainly the war in Afghanistan (and public opinion is shifting away from support for that war as well) and 4 RCMP officers that were murdered while on duty by a crazed lone gunman. Violence is everywhere.
Annnd since we're talking politics... this leads to my main point about what Debra posted in two other threads: Ron Paul and also the Fair Tax.
I didn't comment before because I'm not really directly affected but I must say that Ron Paul is a very interesting character. Never heard of him before. The more I see the more I like.
And the Fair Tax site is another very interesting development.
I think that I just may send these links to a few people up here... could be interesting...
That's the purpose of these forums... we get to have a lot of fun just gabbing away about stuff... and we also get PAID for it!
or what?
