It's absolutely amazing where financial
information can be found these days.
Linda Moulton Howe is mostly known for
"New Age" type topics and, of course, she's
very well respected in that field.
Which is a very long-winded way of introducing
this article:
http://tinyurl.com/5q5nnv
It's a looong one... but well worth your time.
Fact is, we're seeing more and more, the prediction
of the end of the American Empire.
Frightening stuff.

Hi Lorne,
I must say that article is a big eye-opener.
I cannot say that it opened my eyes but it clarified my vision to some
degree. I spoke with some family members several months ago bout
preparing for the likelihood of another depression similar to 1929.
The money we have is not backed by anything and it cannot help us when
the failure actually takes place... the bank holiday is declared.
What I see happening though is the greed emotion of many investors who
are seeing the value of their stocks going down. They don't want to
"lose" anything after they gained a lot from their investment so they sell it
before it gets back down to where they bought the stock. It is a greed
thing. If they would just stay calm and realize that it is simply a loss on
paper for a short period of time, it will come back up.
My take on this is that God has taken control and is sending us all a strong
message. If you have children, you can understand that when you turn
them loose into the world, you cannot control what they do.
You taught them right from wrong and at the time they leave the nest,
you can only hope they will make the right choices and do the right things.
People in America have denounced God in every aspect of our governance.
There has been a big push to take "In God We Trust" off our currency.
They have already stopped us from saying the Lord's prayer in schools.
Parents cannot discipline their own children anymore for fear of being
taken to jail. Therefore, we are sparing the rod with our children and the
respect they give to their elders is far and away... absent.
I see it as God punishing the people of the world and especially us in
America.
We just need to get back to the basics. People need to learn to live within
their means and stop having to have instant gratification using credit to
achieve it.
Just my humble opinion...
Peace, |

Thanks for your comment and observations, Leon.
I came across another article today
from a reporter named Jonathan Weil:
http://tinyurl.com/64u9o8
For me, it illustrates once again that, "if you
let them do it for you, they'll do it to you".
For some reason we've allowed the government
to take control of our lives and yet most of us thought that
we'd already won this battle... years ago.
Here's another one:
"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance".
The maddening part of all of this is that we
can all recite these sayings as if they're mantras...
but we STILL don't 'Get It'.
Maybe now, though, we will... |

I find it strange that the Feds didn't lock the doors, but if there is no
reason to think a crime has been committed, the Feds look the other way.
Stranger still... the ASD Robbery that the Feds committed and has gotten
away with!

Not yet they haven't... Leon.
No one can predict how this will turn out;
but "they" know that they're being watched
as never before.
Even if they win... they lose.
People are connected as never before and
this one will not go away.
In fact... I'll put some more links in the
TBG forum. |

Hi to everyone,
Bill Hinkle here with the answer to our economic crisis.
Heck, I might run for president after all.
Read this to the end. This will and can work.
I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a
”We Deserve It Dividend”.
To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000
bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+. (200 million)
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman
and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals
$425,000.00 per each adult.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a
“We Deserve It Dividend”.
Of course, it would NOT be tax free.
So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.
Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.
That sends $25,500,000, 000 right back to Uncle Sam.
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.
A husband and wife has $595,000 .00.
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.
Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads
Put away money for college - it'll be there
Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
Buy a new car - create jobs
Invest in the market - capital drives growth
Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves
Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean – ends the welfare crisis
Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks
who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company
that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed
Forces.
If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of
trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( "vote buy" ) economic incentive
that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.
If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult
U S Citizen 18+!
As for AIG - liquidate it.
Sell off its parts.
Let American General go back to being American General.
Sell off the real estate.
Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.
Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't.
Sure it's a crazy idea that can "work."
But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!
How do you spell Economic Boom?
I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion
“We Deserve It Dividend” more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in
Washington DC .
And remember, The Family plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because
$25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.
Ahhh...I feel so much better getting that off my chest.

Here is a little change of pace. I received this in an email.
Though I hate to have to add this disclaimer, I feel that I must in order to
prevent any hard feelings from anybody.
If you have a distaste for the mention of anything biblical or associated
with my Lord, then maybe you do not need to click the link below.

Get a load of these high school kids. At the conclusion listen to the high
notes on the trumpet . . . played by a high school kid! One of the fathers
recorded it, added some graphic enhancements to the recording, and
posted it on the web.
The song, of course, is the " Battle Hymn Of The Republic."
Be prepared . . . it will definitely send a few shivers up your spine.

Some of you American patriotic types may need to have a hanky close
by also.
I got goose bumps big enough to hang a hat on! WOW!

Just thought that I'd post an update from
L. M. H. and Gerald Celente:
http://www.earthfiles.com/news.php?ID=1485&category=Environment
It's another interesting interview/blog post on the USA
economy.
More than that... there IS hope, but only after
some economic hardship and once the people
realize that they must FORCE change.
It makes you wonder... according to Celente (and many others)
about the only time that people will revolt is when something
affects their wallets.
"Higher causes", although noble, just don't motivate to
the same degree.
One other point...
G. I. Gurdjieff, many years ago, proposed a theory
of why events never progress in a straight line.
Change must always be preceded by a "shock" of
some type.
He has been proven correct on this observation
as well as many others. Mostly on the spiritual side
of life.
Check him out... but be warned.
It's MUCH easier to read authors that have interpreted
his work. He's almost inaccessable to the average reader.
This was one "deep" guy. |

Hi Lorne,
Thanks for the link to a sad story.
I don't look forward to the possibilities that he suggested, but I can see
where it makes sense.
I was talking to my wife the other day and told her that I was going to vote
for every new person on the ballot because we no longer have a representative
government. Our representatives are supposed to vote the way we ask
them to and they went totally stupid by acting on their emotions from the
fear that was put out by the White House.
The two that we have running for President even voted for the bailouts
and the American people are going to put one of them in the most powerful
office in the world.
I am ashamed to say that I live amongst some pretty stupid people. What is
even worse, is the one leading in the polls now is going to finish
us off by raising taxes!
It's like Stallin or Marx said (I don't remember my history very well.)...
"America will fall to Communism without a shot being fired."
I don't know any answers but I know what I am going to do very soon...
Buy a handgun and a rifle with lots of ammunition.
Peace,
