Hey everyone,
A Tech Note Here about Firefox 3.0 - 3.0.1
It was so slow that I had to revert back to IE
while I was researching the FIX for FF.
Seems they decided that IPv6 was in use
and so they made it the default, WRONG!!!!!
So, here it is and FF is now fast again.
------------------------------------------------
Open a blank tab in FF,
type in about:config and enter
type ip in the filter box
look for: network.dns.disableIPv6; false
double click it and turn it: true
exit FF, reboot your computer and give it a try
It worked great for me.
Take care and be safe

Hi Doug,
I don't have the latest version of Firefox on my PC as yet. This will definitely
help when I decide to upgrade.
I did what you suggested in the version I have right now and it appears to
have sped up this Version 2.0.0.16.
Thanks again and Peace, |
