Some think that's what the war was all about and that Iran's insistence on receiving Euros for its oil is the real reason that country has been targeted.
Dollars? Euros? What's the difference?
The difference is this...if you are the dominant currency, you can support your lifestyle and war machine by printing more when you run out.
Take that power away and there will be a very economic painful dislocation in the US.

Hi Bill,
I haven't seen the video yet, but the concept that you stated about the
Dollar currency issue is what I brought out in the stuff from Lindsey
Williams at the top of this page or on the previous page here.
I'll take a look and see what they are saying... and now I am back.
The agenda presented by the author was for U.S. global supremacy with
the U.S. Dollar being the currency for financial transactions (mainly for oil
purchases). An alternative view on the reason why we went into Iraq.
There is a solution!
It lies in the north slopes of Alaska and additional oil explorations that
have proven even larger oil reserves in the ocean. However, our die-hard
environmentalists are choking us with their stranglehold. They have the
government locked down on further oil drilling.
There could be a simple valve opened and the oil from Alaska could flow
much less expensively and the prices for gasoline would decrease
substantially and our dependence on foreign oil would be less. Likewise,
the price for foreign oil would go down because there would be a surplus.
Just think about it... if the U.S did not buy foreign oil for a month... what
do you think would happen to the world oil trade and the cost of
international oil. All President Bush would have to do is allow the pipeline
to flow. But he is an oil man from Texas and does not care who is hurt
from the exorbitant prices... he just gets richer!
As for the video presenting the reasons for the invasion of Iraq... I
suppose it is plausible.
Thanks and Peace, |

Hi Everybody,
I guess I need to retract a little.
It appears the President has found it in his political heart to say something.
He made a statement the other day that he was expecting Congress to bring
him a bill to allow off-shore drilling.
Maybe he has had some pressure to help with our suffering over high
gasoline prices. I don't know. He still makes money at any rate.
However, even if Congress opens the waters for oil production, I am
thinking this would have no effect on the price of oil for something like 5
years down the road. He still needs to open up the oil reserves in Alaska
for us to have somewhat of an immediate relief.
All said and all done...

You got it right Leon. All talk and nothing in the
way of help. Iran is off the dollar now and they
are next on the hit list. You watch.
Iran wants all the OPEC countries to switch and if
that happens the dollar will crash like the Titanic.
Fed. Reserve can't print Euros.
Tuff times are ahead. Batten down the hatches.
Obama and McShame offer nothing in the way of
common sense or help. More facism on the way.
God help us.. not that we deserve it. |

Hi Bill,
Iraq is on the dollar, but if we pull out the troops...
If we don't approach self-sufficiency very soon, the U.S. is headed for
bankruptcy and that will not be a pretty sight. It is gloomy, but that is what
will be the outcome.
Here's a thought...
OPEC sells oil for $136.00 a barrel.
OPEC nations buy U.S. Grain at $7.00 a bushel.
Solution: Sell grain for $136.00 a bushel.
Can't buy it? Tough! Eat your oil!
Ought to go well with a nice thick grilled fillet of camel ass!

| Quote: | This should make everyone think, Democrat, Republican or Independent.
From a California school teacher -
"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal
immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large
southern California high school, which as a designated a Title 1 school,
meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels.
Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens,
Huntington Park, etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title
1 schools.
Title 1 schools are on The free breakfast and free lunch program. When I
say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full
breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott
proud. The Waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it
being dumped in the trash uneaten. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least
moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The
school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant
girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the
inconvenience of having to arrange for baby-sitters or having family watch
their kids. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I was ordered to spend $7,000,000 on my department or risk losing
funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for
anything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new
computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month
later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who
obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America.
(OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers
whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the
country less than 3 months who raised so much hell with the female
teachers, calling them "Putas"(whores) and throwing things, that the
teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc. Is it
any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand
rights, privileges and entitlements?
To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants
contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper
and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world
of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.
Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more
crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new
diseases etc., etc, etc.
For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.
Americans, we need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster
because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right
mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?
It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world
culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting
pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate,
and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about"
political correctness" that we don't have the will to do anything about
it.
If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, then send this to everyone
you know.
CHEAP LABOR. Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?
Businesses don't want to pay a decent wage.
Consumers don't want expensive produce.
Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.
But the bottom line is CHEAP LABOR. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth,
a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."
Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He
takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he
pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax
Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.
He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.
He qualifies for food stamps.
He qualifies for free (no deductible, no CO-pay) health care.
His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
He requires bilingual teachers and books.
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI. Once
qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our)
taxpayer's expense.
He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners
insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins, and printed material.
He and his family receive the equivalent of $25.00 to $30.00/hour in
benefits.
Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying
their bills and his.
The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti, and trash
cleanup.
Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people!
THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING WITH THE
PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN BOTH PARTIES.
WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE SHOULD
REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!
THIS HAS GOT TO BE PASSED ALONG TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE, OR WE
WILL ALL GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON'T CARE." |
Just thought I would do my duty to pass this along. If you feel the same
way, I encourage you to copy and paste the quoted material and send it to
your list of friends.
Peace, |

Hi Folks,
As your new President, my first order in the White House
would be to track down Bin Ladin. That Osama guy.
Member him ??
Here is my new plan.
Women Power
This is the plan......................
Take all American women who are within five years of menopause - train
them for a few weeks, outfit these ladies with automatic weapons,
grenades, gas masks, moisturizer with SPF15, Prozac,
hormones, chocolate, and canned tuna - drop them
(parachuted, preferably) across the landscape of
Afghanistan, and let them do what comes naturally.
Think about it. Their anger quotient alone, even when
doing standard stuff like grocery shopping and paying
bills, is formidable enough to make even armed men in
turbans tremble. They've had our children, and would
gladly suffer or die to protect them and their future.
They'd like to get away from their husbands, if they
haven't left already. And for those ladies who are
single, the prospect of finding a good man with
whom to share life is about as likely as being struck
by lightning. They have nothing to lose.
They have survived the water diet, the protein diet, the
carbohydrate diet, and the grapefruit diet in gyms and
saunas across America and never lost a pound. They can
easily survive months in the hostile terrain of
Afghanistan with no food at all! They have spent years
tracking down their husbands or lovers in bars, hardware
stores, or sporting events ...finding bin Laden in
some cave will be no problem.
Uniting all the warring tribes of Afghanistan in a new
government? Oh, please ... they have planned the seating
arrangements for in-laws and extended families at
Thanksgiving dinners for years ... they understand
tribal warfare.
Between all these ladies, they've divorced enough husbands to know
every trick there is for how they hide, launder, or
cover up bank accounts and money sources. They know
how to find that money and they know how to seize it ...
with or without the government's help!
Let these ladies go and fight !!
The Taliban hates women. Imagine their terror as they
crawl like ants with hot-flashes over their
godforsaken terrain. Write to your Congresswoman !!
Help me stamp out these terrorists..!!!
Vote for,
Bill Hinkle
President

Hi Everybody,
I was really angry when I read a recent email that supposedly came from a
soldier in Afghanistan about Obama snubbing U.S. soldiers on a recent trip.
As a result, I sent it out to quite a few of my friends and also posted it in this
forum thread.
I must apologize for my actions and ask your forgiveness for not being the
upstanding citizen that I am supposed to be.
Usually, I check things like that out before I do anything with them.
However, this time I was so overwhelmed with anger that I just sent it out
and posted it here.
The fact is that what I sent and posted was false. Please see the information
found at the following link...
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/afghanistan.asp
I have deleted the posting so there's no need to go looking for it.
I humbly ask you to forgive me for passing on that untrue rumor.
Peace, |

You'll recall (or perhaps not, it's been so long lol)
I dropped a post in here concerning a
Canadian citizen fighting back against the so-called
Human Rights Commissions.
He posted a YouTube video about this on his blog that is still
receiving hits.
Long story short... he was fighting for his right
to publish certain cartoons that had part of the
world in an uproar. He was a publisher/magazine
owner when he first published the 'toons.
Human Rights Commissions acting on complaints
brought him before their one-woman tribunal to
explain himself.
You know the rest if you've watched the YouTube video.
TODAY... he won a partial victory.
You'll have to read it yourself... it's a GREAT beginning.
http://ezralevant.com/
Ezra adds to his blog daily (sometimes hourly) so the
"two siren" post may have dropped down a bit by the time
you read it.
The title: "Punished first, acquitted later"
That's just ONE example of what ONE PERSON can
achieve if they want too.
Way to go, Ezra!
I do believe that this group will enjoy the post |

This is probably the best place for this post.
It's a bit complicated, and as serious as it gets.
Here goes...
Fill in the blank:
"Build a better a mouse trap and the world will...
But before you do, read this:
http://tinyurl.com/5fu7uf
And make sure that you read through to the very last
sentence.
Think at will; that's STILL allowed. |

A Chemical Element has been Named.
The recent hurricanes and gasoline issues are proof of the existence
of a new chemical element. A major research institution has recently
announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science.
The new element has been named Governmentium. Governmentium (Gv)
has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198
assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are
surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected,
because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute
amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less
than a second to take over four days to complete.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; It does not decay, but instead
undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and
deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's Mass will actually
increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to
become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that
Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration.
This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass. When catalyzed
with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium...an element that
radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many
peons but twice as many morons. |
